Host-Pathogens Interactions (IHAP)* .

Welcome

IHAP is a multidisciplinary research unit supported by the INRA “Animal Health” Division and the Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT).
Its main objective is to decipher the host-pathogen interactions at various scales of life (molecular, cellular, individual, populational)

Our aim is to generate new knowledge which will in turn provide operational inputs for improving the control of livestock infectious diseases and for preserving human health from foodborne and zoonotic diseases. Altogether, our research activities are mission-oriented and serve the “OneWord, OneHealth” concept, with approaches targeting the reduction of anti-infectious drugs in livestock production.
